It takes a tremendous amount of guts to release a song like this. Lyrics after the video…I wouldn’t normally be the type to go invoking lyrics these days, but they are unique enough to warrant attention. Plus there’s an irresistible, and all-too appropriate Casino reference: Uh, uh, uh, uh It’s not a dis song, it’s […]

I’m just going to leave you all with two songs for the night, inspired by TNC + Co. The first is Smashing Pumpkins’ “Perfect” Got a little vicious over defending their first incarnation today in the open thread. It’s truly sad what’s happened to Billy Corgan over the last ten years. Meanwhile, Kaka isn’t even making the bench, and los Merengues are resorting to Raul, their talisman who is now as still as a […]

“if people want to buy jalapeño-and-oyster flavored ice cream, then companies will sell it to them.” – Jim Manzi Went down to The Lower Depths before the Sox game yesterday. Overall, the place is similar to Bukowski’s; a deep collection of bottled beers, with about a dozen rotating draughts. The first one I tried was Brooklyn’s […]

An embarrassment that ranks above all his others. This blog is taking a stand. (on the other hand, this does explain where he met all the porn stars and cocktail waitresses)

Bam! The scores are still quite low though; the lack of knowledge on the filibuster question is especially troubling. Perhaps that’s why Scott Brown got elected. Also, is it just me, or have I talked about this before already? I’m getting a weird feeling of deja vu. Oh well.
