Adding insult to the injury of Champions’ League exit, Real Madrid had to watch summer sales fodder Wesley Sneijder (a personal favorite of mine) and Arjen Robben star in their European fixtures. Meanwhile, Kaka isn’t even making the bench, and los Merengues are resorting to Raul, their talisman who is now as still as a stuffed dog, to try to bail them out for some sort of miracle goal. It’s not a good day to be a Real Madrid fan, but then again, when you support a club with the political history of Madrid, what is?

My love for the club is based on the football aspect and not for the alleged black political history that is linked with the club.
